Slingshot designers began working with Conservetec to ideate a new concept for household heaters. Although safety features and efficiency were valuable design considerations, the innovation was in developing a "healthy" product. The project vision entailed a silent, pure convection heater that would not circulate dust or allergens. Slingshot's engineers created and tested rough mockups to validate the viability and effectiveness of the proposed concept. Our industrial design team worked closely with the client to generate design specifications tailored to the requirements of their product market. Slingshot's engineering team then developed a functional prototype consistent with the vision and target specs. We provided our expertise in product testing with ETL and UL for certification, quoting, and manufacturing coordination to see innovation through to a successful launch for our client and ultimately the consumer.
