Some ideation and innovation needs are broad based, spanning entire categories of products and technologies. Sometimes our clients have a foothold in a particular product area, but need to innovate new products to create a full product line or to reach new consumers. Other times, our clients have technologies, but need to innovate applications for those technologies to reach the market as strongly as possible. In such broad based innovation programs, the Slingshot team conducts research to identify needs and opportunities, then engages in a thorough ideation process to identify viable solution concepts. This process may span one or several ideation events.
